When is Discovering Mineral?
Discovering Mineral is offered four times each year and is designed to be casual, welcoming, and accessible for all ages.
Classes are held in the Family Life Center on the scheduled Sunday (9:45am-10:45am), and you can enjoy light refreshments during Hebrews Coffee Hour before Sunday School.
We also provide childcare, utilizing our nursery and Sunday School staff, so families can attend together. Simply choose the session that works best for you and register below.

What is Discovering Mineral?
Discovering Mineral is a relaxed class designed to help you learn more about our church. You'll hear our story, what we believe, and how you can grow and serve here. It's also the best place to explore membership at Mineral Baptist Church.
In this class you'll learn:

- What we believe about the Bible
- How to connect in community
- Ways to grow and serve
- What membership means
You can expect:
- A relaxed and welcoming environment
- A chance to hear the story and vision of our church
- An opportunity to ask questions
- The next step for those considering membership
Meet the Pastor
During Discovering Mineral, you'll hear directly from Pastor Kris about the story, mission, and vision of Mineral Baptist Church. He’ll share our mission — Love God. Love People. Make Disciples. — and our core values: prayer, harmony, leaving a Godly legacy, equipping the saints, and making a local and global mission impact.
This class is a great opportunity to ask questions, connect with church leadership, and explore how you can grow spiritually and get involved in the life of our church family.
Kris enjoys CrossFit, reading political thrillers, watching classic TV shows, and participating in missions locally and internationally. He also writes a weekly devotional, I Was Just Thinking…, that encourages readers to notice God at work in everyday life. He loves helping people feel welcomed and connected from their very first time at Mineral Baptist.
