The Renewed Vision and Mission

It's so easy in the midst of our journey to begin to think about the destination and not recognize all that God has in store along the way. John 14 recounts Jesus reminding the disciples, and us, that we're on a journey. Ken Kessler uses this illustration to remind us that we're on a journey to find a pastor, we're on a journey of living our life, we're on a journey in all kinds of ways but the most significant thing is whether we hold on to God and His promises for us. We should expect God to sustain us and to do greater works through faith in Christ.
