The Family of God: Mission of the Family

Every group, team, and organization has a mission - something it rallies around. The Church is no different. In fact, the core mission of Christians, as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20 is to "go and make disciples of all nations." This mission is not just for church leaders, but for every believer, and it's a lifestyle, not a one-time event. Kris Hutchinson addresses the importance of baptism as the first step of obedience for disciples of Jesus, the reality of sin, and the urgent need to share the gospel with a world that desperately needs Jesus. While the mission is clear, we need to "lace them up and lace them tight," preparing for the challenges of living out their faith and actively participating in God's mission.
