MFuge Trip Journal: Day 2 (June 8) - And So It Begins...

Day 2 is in the books.

And what a day it was! Today, we began our mission work. We went to ABCCM Veteran's Restorative Quarters. We have been partnered with Yadkin Baptist Church from Statesville, NC. They were great to work with and we look forward to working with them this week. Our team members jumped right in and were ready to clean windows, clean up a weight room, and prepare meals for the residents. And we learned that Parker is "Master Squeegee"...

Our site leader, Emmy, a college student at the University of Georgia, has a tremendous story and loves being a Fuge staffer. She has wanted to be one since she attended MFuge as a sixth grader herself!

Overall, it is exciting to see God moving! Hearts and lives are being changed!
